Sadly, truck drivers get a lot of hate on the road as well. Some non-commercial drivers with zero knowledge about trucks live with a belief that truck drivers are arrogant and they drive like they own the road. This is why when they see a truck moving slow or making wide turns they start to think that the truck driver is doing this on purpose. This is not true.

The Challenges of Urban Trucking: Patience and Precision on City Streets

Truck drivers, especially in cities, work in very difficult and challenging situations. Because of their size and weight, they drive and make turns with extreme caution. They not only deal with tight roads, low bridges but they also deal with hate from fellow four-wheelers.

This is why we believe, trucking is all about patience and keeping calm. If you see someone overreacting because of your maneuvers, especially on city streets, just smile and move on.

At the end of day you can only control your actions but not others.
